Todays post is about the Stealth Access Door manufactured by Wind Lock. Wind Lock was the first manufacturer who used the term "Stealth " to describe their unique ceiling access door. The stealth door is manufactured out of GFRG which stands for Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum. Contractors usually just call them Fiberglass access doors. They are used for ceiling applications in drywall ( gyp-board ) ceilings. The installation is easy . The framing layout for these doors must be done prior to hanging the drywall on the ceiling. The stealth doors are available both round and rectangular sizes with an optional hinge for the rectangular doors. How to install a stealth access door. 9 x9 , 12 x 12 , 16 x 16 , 18 x 18 , 24 x 24
The residential non hinged doors are available in 22 x 30 and 30 x 30
The round doors are available in 12 inch , 16 inch , 18 inch and 24 inch diameters.
