Fiberglass Reinforced Gypsum access doors are all the rage in both residential and commercial construction because they provide a near invisible look. . Karps FG access door originally came with a drop in door. I have news that is so new that it is not even on Karp's website yet.
The FG door is now available with hinges and a keyed lock. This door can be used in walls and ceiling that does not have a fire rating. We have taken photos of this new FG door with hinges
