Product Review of The Steel Network's Drift Clip DSL



      The Steel Network is a major manufacturer of connectors for the  light gauge steel framing industry.  All of TSN’s drift & vertical deflection connections Drift Clip and Drift Trak accommodate vertical deflection and lateral drift requirements of the structure. DriftClip and DriftTrak’s unique designs provide both an anti-friction and anti-seizure connections between the clip and the stud web surface. The DriftClip and DriftTrak line of products offer a variety of drift & vertical deflection connectors for all connection applications.


       DriftClip DSLis available to accommodate vertical deflection and lateral drift requirements at head of wall. Step Bushings pre-installed in vertical slots allow up to 2” vertical deflection (1” up and down). Horizontal slots accommodate 2” lateral drift (1” left and right-in-plane), with Step Bushings also preinstalled through the manufacturing process.
