Todays Product Review is on Karp Associates KRP450FR . Karp Associates is a leading  manufacturer of Access doors since 1956. Karp had two flagship fire rated access door for years.
The  KRP-150FR and the KRP-250FR. The access door industry realize that there was a need for
fire rated doors for drywall applications where the door could look more invisible by eliminating the
frame or flange. They replaced the solid flange with drywall bead. The door should be installed prior to the finishing of the drywall. The KRP 450 FR comes with a standard white powder coat paint finish and can be ordered in Stainless Steel. The door comes with an  easy to open  lockable paddle latch.The door is rated at 1.50 hours and is suggested for walls only.
