FF Systems F2 Access Door with Factory Applied Drywall Insert

The door comes with a factory installed 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch drywall installed. All the installer has to do is screw the door in place and mud in the drywall bead frame. The construction of the door is made of aluminum so it is great for areas with moisture such as restrooms. The door on model F2 is removable and has a safety chain for mounting a ceiling.

New Invisible Plumbing Access Doors FF Systems F2DF

There is a new Access door  manufacturer in the United States. They are called FF Systems, located in Florida.  Today I will be speaking about their F2DF model. The  FF Systems F2DF access panel consists of a welded aluminum frame and is available with 1/2" (12.7 mm) or 5/8" (15.9 mm) inlayed drywall and two latches.
Both an outer and an inner frame assembly consists of high grade aluminum which is bonded with a special welding process. For sizes 12” x 12” (305 mm x 305 mm) and up the access panels are equipped with a safety-system ( used in ceilings) to prevent accidental opening. This safety system must be reattached if the hatch is removed.
The reveal of 1/16 of an inch (1.59 mm) is visible between the outer frame and door hatch. The concealed snap locks open the access panel when pressure is applied to the spring loaded latch side ( no tools needed to open)
