Karp Associates FG access door
Todays post is on Karp Associates FG Access door. The FG stands for Fiber Glass. This is a brand new door by Karp that is made for drywall ceilings. The FG door is easy to install and provides an aesthetically pleasing seamless appearance. The fiberglass makes it easy to paint. The doors come in a variety of sizes such as 9 x 9, 12 x 12, 16 x 16, 18 x 18 and 24 x 24. The rough opening is 6 inches larger than the door size you need. Installation is easy. Cut the rough opening, fasten the frame to the ceiling. Apply drywall mud ( Spackle) to the perimeter to blend it into the surrounding drywall, sand and paint.
